If you are searching for a phrase, such as "connective tissue", try it in quotes first. eg: "grape seed extract" "connective tissue" Results will appear in a new window. Try all the above, with and without quotes if needed, until you find the information you need. To search for medical abstracts of approved studies go toPubMedand search in a similar way. It takes time to find exactly what you want. Often a search will yield a phrase that you can use in another search that brings much better results. (This is how I learned about "matrix metalloproteinase". I have found over 150 relevant studies in this way.) In the results window on PubMed check the studies that interest you, click the "summary" menu and select "abstract" unless full text is available, then click "Display". Feel free to explore and poke around. Though they may require you to register, it is free up to a point beyond routine searches, and then you have to authorize payment before they will charge you anything. I sincerely hope this helps.
